Each year, ADRIQ highlights the collaboration between a company and a college centre for technology transfer (CCTT). The most recent award was presented to TGWT Clean Technologies and the CCTT of Coll\u00e8ge de Maisonneuve for their work on steam boilers. How do these collaborations work? A behind-the-scenes look.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn our case, our relationships with CCTTs have been a major lever that helped us become a leader in green chemistry,\u201d says Paule Genest, Director of ESG and Development at TGWT, without hesitation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

There are currently 59 college centres for technology transfer across the province. Affiliated with colleges and spread across 15 of Quebec\u2019s 17 regions, they fulfill several roles, including supporting businesses in their innovation and applied research projects. Each centre specializes in a specific field, ranging from forestry and geomatics to microelectronics and metallurgy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CCTT involved in the collaboration with TGWT, the Centre d\u2019\u00e9tudes des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s chimiques du Qu\u00e9bec (CEPROCQ), specializes in green chemical processes, the bioeconomy, and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
