Montreal, April 21, 2026 — As part of its InnovAction Conference organized on the sidelines of its Annual General Meeting, the Association for the Development of Research and Innovation in Quebec (ADRIQ) officially launched NUMERI, an initiative of the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE), which aims to bring together and mobilize excellence in digital support for businesses to make each digital shift a true lever for sustainable growth.
In the presence of several partners, including the Quebec Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE), the Quebec Innovation Council, Investissement Québec, and the Quebec Quality Movement, ADRIQ, mandated to drive this initiative, announced the launch of its website and officially launched the membership campaign to become a member of NUMERI and to obtain the certification that recognizes professionals capable of supporting businesses in their digital transformation with rigor, objectivity, and strategic vision.
“By bringing together and recognizing excellence in digital support in Quebec, particularly through certification, NUMERI will contribute to consolidating a trusted ecosystem, participating in the professional development of digital support experts, and providing a clear benchmark for businesses and stakeholders,” stated Frédéric Alberro, President and CEO of ADRIQ.
These findings call for action
Supporting businesses in their digital transformation with qualified experts is a true driver of performance and a recognized strength of the ecosystem in Quebec. However, in a context of rapid technological evolution and a growing number of stakeholders, approaches vary, deliverables are uneven, and businesses have few benchmarks for assessing the credibility of experts.
NUMERI addresses this challenge by introducing a rigorous and independent certification, as well as a directory of validated experts. It is not a coaching program but rather a community of digital coaching professionals who want to participate in their professional development and recognize and promote excellence.
NUMERI: a common framework, a rigorous certification
NUMERI brings together digital support professionals around a common framework of quality, ethics, and competence, by certifying experts evaluated by an independent committee according to demanding criteria related to their experience, the quality of their assessments, their strategic capacity, and their professionalism.
“NUMERI is the answer to a real need within the ecosystem. Businesses need clear benchmarks to make strategic decisions regarding digital transformation. NUMERI fills this gap by establishing a recognized standard. We want Quebec businesses to be able to rely on experts whose credibility is recognized and verified. Experts who commit to this quality approach will be recognized, and NUMERI, along with its members, will contribute to their visibility and professional development,” emphasized Mr. Alberro.
Three pillars at the heart of NUMERI
- Certification: a rigorous 5-step process, validated by an independent committee
- Recognition and directory: recognition and promotion of excellence in digital support, as well as a tool for SMEs to find a certified expert based on their required expertise, sector, or region
- Community of practice: a space for exchange, sharing, and professional development
Beyond certification, NUMERI aims to be a collective lever to evolve practices and strengthen the innovation capacity of Quebec companies.
