Montreal, June 19, 2025 – The Association for the Development of Research and Innovation of Quebec (ADRIQ), present today at the innovative Trois-Rivières–based company AGT Robotics for the unveiling of the Government of Quebec’s 2025–2028 SME Plan, welcomes this announcement made by the Minister Delegate for the Economy, Minister Responsible for the Fight Against Racism and Minister Responsible for the Laval region, Mr. Christopher Skeete, alongside the Member of the National Assembly for Champlain and Minister Responsible for Government Administration and President of the Treasury Board, Ms. Sonia LeBel, as well as the Minister of Labour and Minister Responsible for the Mauricie, Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Nord-du-Québec regions, Mr. Jean Boulet.
“While Quebec’s industrial fabric is made up of 98% SMEs and their challenges related to innovation, productivity and business succession are numerous and significant, this SME Plan sends a strong and clear signal toward simplification, regionalization and streamlining of SME support and guidance pathways. ADRIQ welcomes the plan’s vision to maximize synergy among regional stakeholders, facilitate SME referral to the right resources, and foster collaboration among the various players in the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem,” stated ADRIQ President and Chief Executive Officer, Frédéric Alberro.
ADRIQ highlights the following structuring and relevant measures, which respond to several recommendations from its pre-budget brief: 🔗 ADRIQ_Pre-budget_Brief_2025-2026
