Montreal, April 25, 2025 – The Association for the Development of Research and Innovation in Quebec (ADRIQ) held its 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 24 at the Centre Mont-Royal in Montreal. More than sixty people were present, representing various stakeholders in Quebec’s research and innovation ecosystem. We warmly thank everyone who contributed to the success of this event.

This event was an opportunity to review the 2024 activity report and the financial status of the association. The year 2024 was marked by change and growth. The AGM was also an occasion to implement certain amendments to the General Bylaws and to present ADRIQ’s action priorities for 2025.

In August 2024, ADRIQ welcomed Frédéric Alberro as President and CEO, bringing a new and inspiring vision. The Chair of the Board, Nancy Déziel, Executive Director of the National Center for Electrochemistry and Environmental Technologies, took the opportunity to again express her deep gratitude to outgoing CEO Pascal Monette for the tremendous work accomplished over the past ten years. The past year saw remarkable growth in ADRIQ’s activities, reflecting the continued commitment of its team and innovation advisors to provide members, partners, and Quebec SMEs with high-quality activities and programs focused on innovation, aimed at increasing competitiveness and productivity.

ADRIQ anticipates a year full of challenges and opportunities for Quebec’s research and innovation ecosystem, with multiple opportunities for collaborations and partnerships to strengthen innovation in Quebec. A brand-new strategic plan will define major priorities and guide ADRIQ’s actions. In May, ADRIQ will move to the Ax.c space, the brand-new must-visit destination for Quebec tech startups and innovative entrepreneurship in downtown Montreal. ADRIQ took this opportunity to present the main lines of its new strategic plan.
