For more than 45 years (since 1978), the Association for the Development of Research and Innovation of Quebec (ADRIQ) has played a central role in Quebec’s innovation ecosystem.
Our mission is to stimulate innovation to increase Quebec’s competitiveness. This mission is carried out through three complementary areas of action:
PROMOTE
We value research and innovation in all its forms to boost the competitiveness of Quebec businesses. Through our initiatives, our media presence, and our flagship events like the Innovation Awards Gala, we help promote best practices in innovation among SMEs and showcase the expertise and creativity of local players.
MOBILIZE
We bring together our members and key players in the ecosystem—businesses, researchers, experts, governments, and institutions—to create lasting synergies and foster collaboration. Through our activities, our presence at major events, our consultations, and our partnerships, we act as a catalyst for a strong and cohesive ecosystem, in addition to formulating public policy recommendations on innovation for governments.
SUPPORT
We support businesses at every stage of their innovation journey, from idea to market. Through our network of 46 innovation advisors and our customized programs, we provide strategic, neutral support tailored to the realities of each organization. Our interventions cover all aspects of innovation, including strategy, intellectual property, financing, human resources, commercialization, digital transformation, public markets and more.
Each year, ADRIQ mobilizes a network of nearly 8,000 people and supports over 300 businesses annually across Quebec. Our concrete actions, recognized expertise, and strong network of partners make us a key player in specialized, third-line innovation support.
